1. Process-Driven Design

  • Production Layout (Layout & Flow): Design the factory layout to have the shortest and most efficient material flow path to reduce the time for transporting goods within the factory.
  • Working Zone Division: Define clear zones between the production area, storage area, and utility area to ensure orderly and safe operations.
  • Expansion Support: The structure is designed to be flexible enough to accommodate the installation of new machinery or future production line expansion without the need for major dismantling.

2. Strong structure and specialized factory floor

Factories require extra durable structures to support the weight of machinery and vibration.

  • Building Structure: Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) is commonly used because it is strong, fast to construct, and has wide column spans, allowing the production area to be flexible in the placement of machinery.
  • Industrial Flooring: Concrete floors must be designed to have the load bearing capacity required by the machinery and activities, and a specialized coating such as Epoxy Flooring or PU Flooring must be selected to be resistant to chemicals, corrosion, and heavy weight bearing.

3. Specialized engineering systems for factories

The internal systems of a factory are more complex than those of a typical building. We design and install the utilities necessary for production.

  • High-Voltage Electrical System: Design a high-voltage distribution system, transformers, and standard grounding system to support the 24-hour operation of large machinery.
  • Compressed Air and Cooling Water System: Highly efficient compressed air and cooling water systems (Chiller/Cooling Water) are installed and can be stably supplied to various points of use throughout the factory.
  • Ventilation and Pollution Control Systems: For factories that generate dust, vapor or pollution, we install Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) and Dust Collector systems to maintain indoor air quality and meet environmental regulations.

4. Safety standards

Safety is a consideration at every stage. We prioritize compliance with laws and international standards.

  • Fire Safety System: Design and install automatic fire extinguishing systems (e.g. Sprinkler System), smoke detection and alarm systems, and provide adequate and legal fire escape routes and stairs.
